Ricardo Barcellos (Porto Alegre, 1969)

Apaixonado pela fotografia desde a adolescência, tem sua trajetória profissional marcada pela versatilidade . Avesso ao estilo, seu trabalho transita por múltiplas linguagens visuais passando por lifestyle, retratos, stilllife , beauty e vídeo . É justamente no cruzamento de linguagens diferentes que propõe soluções para seus clientes.

Realiza projetos no campo das artes visuais utilizando técnicas de vídeo arte, instalações e fotografia expandida.

Graduado em Comunicação social, realizou  curso no International Center of Photography (1997), Nova Iorque, EUA. Curso de direcão de cinema no Met film School (2014) Londres , Inglaterra.

Premiado em Cannes com um Leão de Ouro (2016), dois de prata (2014, 2005) e um de bronze (2004). Recebeu o Prêmio Conrado Wessel de  fotografia (2009), Hasselblad Masters Latin America (2011) entre outros.

Ricardo Barcellos (Porto Alegre, 1969) Passionate about photography since a teenager his professional career has been marked by versatility. Averse to style, his work transits through multiple visual languages, going  ​​through lifestyle, portraits, stilllife, beauty and video. It is precisely crossing those different languages ​​that he deals and solves his clients challenges.

He carries out projects in visual arts using video art, installation and expanded photography techniques.

Graduated in Social Communication, he took a course at the International Center of Photography (1997), New York, USA. Film direction course at the Met Film School (2014) London, England.

Awarded in Cannes with a Golden Lion (2016), two silver (2014, 2005) and one bronze (2004). He received the Conrado Wessel Prize for Photography (2009), Hasselblad Masters Latin America (2011) among others.

He has exhibited at institutions such as Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo (SP), MASP (SP), Usina do Gasômetro (RS), Paço das Artes (SP). He has participated twice in Photoespain (2011 and 2015). His work has been exhibited in different countries such as Italy, Germany, Spain, Colombia and the Czech Republic. He has works in important collections, such as Pirelli-Masp, Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo and Mac-RS.
